June 2017 Top Toronto Events
Toronto Pride Parade – it’s one of the largest organized gay pride events in the world – it’s a fun week capped by the weekend Pride Parade, which turns downtown Toronto into a huge 48-hour street party! About 100,000 visitors come for the Pride Parade alone, and the whole week is estimated to attract up to 1 million people. It’s a huge event and growing each year! July 2017 Top Toronto Events
Honday Indy Toronto – It’s one of 7 Canadian cities to host the event, and it’s the 2nd longest street-race behind the Grand Prix of Long Beach. While it may not be a huge event in terms of visitors to the city, it attracts high-end visitors. Caribana – It’s huge, electric, raw energy, full of soul, unpredictable and pretty chaotic. This is North America’s largest street festival, sorry Mardi Gras, but this is THE annual event if you want to visit Toronto and party. Roughly 2 million people who descend on the city each year to do just that. This year Caribana takes place on August 3 – 7 2017, and it takes place all over downtown Toronto.

TIFF – September in Toronto is all about TIFF…it’s all that matters to anyone. Toronto residents scramble to get tickets to the best TIFF films and more importantly try to get tickets to the many TIFF parties all around the city. Visitors who come to Toronto get down to work during this event as it has become the main North American film festival. It’s the one annual event that really puts Toronto on the world stage and it’s a frenetic and splashy event that attracts many from Hollywood and the worldwide film industry. The event takes over King Street West and basically the entire downtown area. This year TIFF takes place between September 7 – 17, 2017.
